Είχα καιρό να γράψω ένα λίγο πιο προσωπικό άρθρο!! Και ένιωθα τις τελευταίες μέρες πώς ήρθε η στιγμή να το κάνω. Ίσως με άγγιξε λίγο παραπάνω το γεγονός ότι το τελευταίο τρομοκρατικό χτύπημα σε ευρωπαϊκό έδαφος έγινε σε μια πόλη που ερωτεύτηκα αμέσως: την Βαρκελώνη (και όταν λέω αμέσως, εννοώ από την στιγμή που πάτησα το πόδι μου στο αεροδρόμιο El Prat!)! Θα μου πεις έχεις πάει και Παρίσι και Κωνσταντινούπολη και Στοκχόλμη (άλλα μέρη που έχουν γίνει επιθέσεις στο πρόσφατο παρελθόν)! Προσπαθώ κι εγώ να αναζητήσω μέσα μου γιατί με έκανε η πόλη αυτή να γράψω αυτό το κείμενο…ίσως γιατί είναι η πόλη που πρεσβεύει περισσότερο ιδανικά και ιδέες που ταιριάζουν με την ψυχοσύνθεσή μου: τέχνη, ελευθερία, νεανικότητα, αισιοδοξία, ελευθερία λόγου……ίσως γιατί πάντα συμπαθούσα τους Ισπανούς λίγο παραπάνω (μαζί με τους Ιταλούς) από τους υπόλοιπους ευρωπαϊκούς λαούς……
Για να είμαι ειλικρινής μια φορά ακύρωσα πλάνα ταξιδιού λόγω τρομοκρατικού χτυπήματος…..παρόλο που η συγκεκριμένη πόλη δεν είχε χτυπηθεί!! Θα πήγαινα τον Δεκέμβρη του 2015 δυο μερούλες Μιλάνο με τη μαμά μου (ξέρεις….να της δείξω το Duomo, να πιούμε τα Aperol spritz μας….κτλ κτλ…). Είχαμε κλείσει τα αεροπορικά μας, είχαμε βρει και ξενοδοχείο με δωρεάν ακύρωση κάπου στο κέντρο, είχα βρει και εισιτήρια για τον ”Μυστικό Δείπνο” του Da Vinci (που πρέπει να κάνεις κράτηση αρκετά νωρίτερα για να βρεις θέσεις!!)….αλλά αποφάσισα με πόνο ψυχής να κάνω το χατήρι της μητέρας μου….να μην πάμε…και να μην πάω ούτε μόνη μου εκείνο το διάστημα….άλλωστε δεν θα χάναμε και πολλά χρήματα!! Επειδή όμως με έτρωγε πολύ που δεν πήγα τότε…..βρήκα και έκλεισα εισιτήριο για τον επόμενο μήνα, κάτι που δεν έχω μετανιώσει ούτε στιγμή, γιατί τελικά οδήγησε σε μία από τις ωραιότερες εμπειρίες που έχω ζήσει μέχρι τώρα….το πρώτο μου solo ταξίδι !
Άλλη φορά όμως δεν τα ακύρωσα!! Όχι γιατί ήταν όλα προγραμματισμένα(πτήσεις και ξενοδοχεία non refundable), αλλά γιατί δεν ήθελα, δεν άντεχα στην ιδέα ότι θα ακυρώσω ταξίδι επειδή το ήθελαν κάποιοι άλλοι, επειδή κάποιοι θέλουν να μας τροφοδοτούν με την ιδέα του φόβου!! Πήγα Παρίσι ενάμισι μήνα μετά το πρώτο τρομοκρατικό χτύπημα (αυτό στο Charlie Hebdeau)…..και δεν το μετάνιωσα καθόλου! Οκ, οι έλεγχοι ήταν εξονυχιστικοί (ακόμα και στο παρεκκλήσι Sainte Chapelle είχε έλεγχο) και έβλεπες σχεδόν παντού στρατιώτες με τα όπλα ανά χείρας….αλλά για κάποιον περίεργο λόγο εγώ ένιωθα ασφαλής….ασφαλής, ερωτευμένη στο Παρίσι και ερωτευμένη για τρίτη φορά με την πόλη του φωτός! Και πραγματικά δεν σκέφτηκα καθόλου την προηγούμενη επίθεση παρά μόνο τότε που περάσαμε τυχαία από το σημείο…
Μέσα μου εννοείται και φοβάμαι!! Και παγώνω κάθε φορά που βλέπω ή διαβάζω στις ειδήσεις ότι χτυπήθηκε η τάδε ή η δείνα πόλη, ότι χάθηκαν ανθρώπινες ζωές!! Ξέρω όμως πως κίνδυνοι υπάρχουν παντού και πώς δεν μπορώ να προβλέψω ποιά πόλη θα είναι η επόμενη για να την αποφύγω. Δεν μπορώ να κλειστώ σε μια γυάλα ή να κάτσω στο σπίτι μου περιμέντας πότε θα τελειώσει όλο αυτό!! Ο κόσμος μας δεν είναι ένα αγγελικά πλασμένο μέρος δυστυχώς. Συνέχεια ακούμε παντού για ληστείες, βιασμούς, δολοφονίες, ατυχήματα!!
Και δεν θα σταματήσω να ταξιδεύω!! Ούτε κι εσύ να σταματήσεις!! Καλύτερα ναί να αποφύγεις χώρες όπως η Συρία, το Αφγανιστάν, ξέρεις πώς ίσως παίρνεις κάποιο μικρό ρίσκο ταξιδεύοντας σε μεγάλες πρωτεύουσες όπως το Παρίσι, οι Βρυξέλλες, η Νέα Υόρκη, αλλά μην παρατήσεις το όνειρό σου να δεις κάποια μέρη γιατί υπάρχει μια περίπτωση στο εκατομμύριο η πόλη να χτυπηθεί. Είναι πιο πιθανό να σε χτυπήσει κεραυνός παρά να βρεθείς την λάθος στιγμή στο λάθος μέρος. Είναι πιο πιθανό να πέσεις σε λακκούβα (έχεις δει πώς είναι τα πεζοδρόμια και οι δρόμοι στο κέντρο του Πειραιά τώρα που φτιάχνουν το μετρό και το τραμ;;). Έχεις περισσότερες πιθανότητες να σε χτυπήσει αυτοκίνητο περνώντας απέναντι το δρόμο.
Δεν θα κάτσω να σου γράψω γιατί πιστεύω πώς αυτοί οι άνθρωποι οδηγούνται στο να ζωστούν με εκρηκτικά και να ανατιναχθούν, γιατί παίρνουν ένα φορτηγό και πέφτουν πάνω σε κόσμο που περπατά αμέριμνα και πάει στις δουλείες του. Θα μπορούσα λόγω των σπουδών ψυχολογίας αλλά δεν είναι ο στόχος μου αυτός.
Ο κόσμος φοβάται την τρομοκρατία γιατί είναι κάτι τυχαίο και απρόβλεπτο. Και συνήθως φοβόμαστε αυτό που δεν μπορούμε να ελέγξουμε!! Αλλά μήπως πρέπει να την βάζουμε στο μυαλό μας στο ίδιο καζάνι με τα τσουνάμι, τους σεισμούς και άλλες φυσικές καταστροφές;; Δεν ξέρουμε αν και πότε και αυτά θα συμβούν.
Πάντως για κάθε ένα κακό που συμβαίνει στον κόσμο υπάρχουν πολύ περισσότερα καλά!! Θα βρεις κάποιον να σε βοηθήσει στη δύσκολη στιγμή ή να σου λύσει μια απορία!!
Ταξίδεψε λοιπόν για να καταρρίψεις τα στερεότυπα και το ρατσισμό, για να κατανοήσεις την διαφορετικότητα, για να νιώσεις πως όλοι οι άνθρωποι στον κόσμο μέσα μας έχουμε τις ίδιες ανάγκες: ανάγκη για αποδοχή, ανάγκη να αγαπάμε και να αγαπιόμαστε, ανάγκη να δίνουμε στον συνάνθρωπο και μέσα από αυτό να γεμίζουμε.
Γιατί για να κατανοήσεις την διαφορετικότητα, πρέπει να την δεις και να έρθεις σε επαφή μαζί της. Να απλώσεις το χέρι σου και να έρθεις πιο κοντά με τον ”ξένο”, που δεν θα είναι πια ”ξένος” όταν λιγάκι μιλήσεις μαζί του. Στη συνέχεια θα τον εμπιστευτείς και θα χτίσεις τον δεσμό σιγά σιγά. Κι έτσι πλέον δεν θα φοβάσαι….και θα γίνεις πιο δοτικός, πιο ανθρώπινος, θα μπορέσεις να δεις τον κόσμο μέσα από τα δικά του μάτια, θα γνωρίσεις περισσότερο και τον ίδιο σου τον εαυτό…
Εγώ λοιπόν θα συνεχίσω να ταξιδεύω!! Εσύ;;
