Σε δυο μέρες η καρδιά της μπασκετικής Ευρώπης θα χτυπάει στην Κωνσταντινούπολη. Τότε ξεκινάει το Final4 της Ευρωλίγκας και θα υπάρχει και ελληνικός εκπρόσωπος! Η ομάδα του Ολυμπιακού!! Η ομάδα μου!!
Αν πας Κωνσταντινούπολη για την διοργάνωση, καταρχάς σε ζηλεύω. Πολύ. Πάρα πάρα πολύ. Γιατί θα ήθελα κι εγώ να δω από κοντά την προσπάθεια της ομάδας που αγαπώ. Θα ήμουν κι εγώ στο ραντεβού, αλλά δυστυχώς τα πλάνα μου άλλαξαν! Αν πας λοιπόν στην Πόλη, εδώ σου έχω τί μπορείς να δεις και να κάνεις στην πόλη!! Την επισκέφτηκα πριν λίγα χρόνια και με μάγεψε με την μοναδικότητά της. Ελπίζω να μαγέψει κι εσένα!
Σου γράφω και παράλληλα πίνω τσαγάκι (αυτό που πίνουν εκεί και που τόσο θα ήθελα να πίνω τώρα με θέα τον Βόσπορο!)!
1. Αγία Σοφία
Πρώτη και καλύτερη στην λίστα μου! Θα περάσεις το κατώφλι και θα αντικρίσεις κάτι πρωτόγνωρο…..δυο πολιτισμούς ενωμένους! Μπήκα με ανάμεικτα συναισθήματα να πω την αλήθεια (χαρά, πικρία, λίγο θυμό, ανυπομονησία) και βγήκα γεμάτη δεός γι’αυτό το κόσμημα! Στον επάνω όροφο θα δεις και ψηφιδωτά από την βυζαντινή περίοδο.
2. Παλάτι Τοπ Καπί
Ανάκτορο με τα όλα του!! Κάνε βόλτα στους κήπους, τσέκαρε τους θησαυρούς των Σουλτάνων στο Θησαυροφυλάκιο και δώσε λίγες τουρκικές λίρες παραπάνω για να μπεις και στο Χαρέμι.
3. Μπλέ τζαμί
Ή αλλιώς Σουλταναχμέτ Τζαμί. Οφείλει την ονομασία του στα μπλε πλακίδια ιζνίκ που κοσμούν τους εσωτερικούς του τοίχους. Θα βγάλεις τα παπουτσάκια σου (μην ανησυχείς, σου δίνουν σακουλίτσα να τα βάλεις μέσα) και θα πατήσεις στα χαλιά του. Αν είσαι γυναίκα θα πρέπει να καλύψεις τα μαλλιά σου με ένα μαντήλι.
4. Κρουαζιέρα στον Βόσπορο
Θα κατέβεις στην στάση του τραμ Eminonu και θα πάρεις ένα από τα πλοιάρια. Εμείς προτιμήσαμε την δίωρη κρουαζιέρα για να μην χάσουμε χρόνο από αλλού. Είναι όμως μοναδική εμπειρία.
5. Δοκίμασε Simit
Είναι κουλούρι με σουσάμι (σαν το κουλούρι Θεσσαλονίκης), νοστιμότατο. Το βρίσκεις κυρίως από πλανόδιους πωλητές.
6. Istiklal Caddesi
Η Ερμού της Πόλης. Εδώ θα κάνεις τα ψώνια σου και θα χαζέψεις τα κτήρια, κάποια αυτά είναι από το 1920. Συνήθως γίνεται χαμός από κοσμο. Και προσοχή στο κόκκινο τραμ!!!
7. Μπακλαβάς στο Hafiz Mustafa 1864
Ο καλύτερος στην Πόλη!! Και με μπόλικο φιστίκι που μου αρέσει!! Έφαγα τόσο γρήγορα το κομμάτι μου που ξέχασα να βγάλω φωτογραφία!!!
8. Καπαλί Τσαρσί (Μεγάλο Παζάρι)
Μια από τις μεγαλύτερες και παλιότερες κλειστές αγορές του κόσμου. Μιλάμε για 60 δρομάκια και περισσότερα από 3,000 μαγαζιά!! Θα χαθείς και θα σ’αρέσει, θα γεμίσουν τα μάτια σου χρώματα. Δεν θα σου προτείνω να πάρεις πολλά πράγματα από εδώ γιατί είναι λίγο ακριβούτσικά, αλλά μπορείς να κάνεις και παζάρια φυσικά!!
9. Αιγυπτιακό Παζάρι
Θα μπείς και θα σε πάρει από την μύτη η μυρωδιά των μπαχαρικών!! Άρωμα Πόλης!!! Από εδώ αξίζει να πάρεις μπαχαρικά για σουβενίρ……να τα βάζεις στο φαγητό και να πηγαίνεις πίσω εκεί μόνο με την μυρωδιά!!
10. Kebab και Doner
Εεε στην Τουρκία είσαι, δεν θα φας;; Θα φας και θα ξαναφάς!!! Πρόσεχε μόνο τα πολύ τουριστικά μαγαζάκια γιατί θα το πληρώσεις χρυσάφι!
11. Παλάτι Ντολμάμπαχτσε
Σημαίνει γεμισμένος κήπος!! Αξίζει να πας και να θαμπωθείς από τα πλούτη και τη χλιδή. Το κτήριο είναι επιβλητικό και ογκώδες, ακολουθώντας δυτικοευρωπαϊκά πρότυπα. Για την ιστορία, εδώ πέθανε ο Κεμάλ Ατατούρκ στις 10 Νοεμβρίου του 1938 στις 9.05 π.μ. και όλα τα ρολόγια του παλατιού έχουν σταματήσει στην ώρα του θανάτου του!
12. Καφές ή τσάι
Να πιείς και να φέρεις και πίσω! Το κλασικό τσάι ή αυτό με το μήλο. Δοκίμασα και πορτοκάλι και μου άρεσε ιδιαίτερα!
13. Στενάκια κοντά στην Istiklal Caddesi
Χρωματιστά και με μπαλκονάκια μούρλια. Θα κάνεις την βόλτα σου και θα με θυμηθείς.
14. Funicular Karakoy-Beyoglu
Η διαδρομή κρατά 1.5 λεπτό!! Ναι καλά διαβάζεις, 1.5 λεπτό! Και είναι το δεύτερο παλιότερο μετρό στον κόσμο.
15. Λουκούμια
Δοκίμασα πολλά και διάφορα και έφερα και πίσω και για μενα (για την βραδινή λιγούρα!) και για την οικογένειά μου!
16. Βασιλική Κινστέρνα
Πρόκειται για την μεγαλύτερη υπόγεια δεξαμενή της Κωνσταντινούπολης η οποία κατασκευάστηκε από τον Κωνσταντίνο και επεκτάθηκε επί Ιουστινιανού, με σκοπό να υδροδοτείται η πόλη σε περίπτωση πολιορκίας. Υπέροχοι κίονες, χαμηλός φωτισμός και το πλιτς πλιτς από τις σταγόνες που πέφτουν απαλά στο νερό δημιουργούν μια μαγευτική ατμόσφαιρα! Μπορεί να πετύχεις και συναυλίες κλασικής μουσικής, καθώς ο χώρος έχει εξαιρετική ακουστική.
17. Γέφυρα και Πύργος του Γαλατά
Ένα ιδιαίτερο στοιχείο χαρακτηρίζει τη γέφυρα, καθώς συνδέει από τη μία τις δύο ευρωπαϊκές ακτές της Πόλης, ενώ ταυτόχρονα τις διαχωρίζει κιόλας, αφού δρα ως φυσικό σύνορο δύο κόσμων διαφορετικών: από τη μία πλευρά o κοσμοπολιτισμός με τον δυτικό τρόπο ζωής και από την άλλη το φολκλορικό, ιστορικό κέντρο που είναι στραμμένο προς τις ιερές πόλεις της Ανατολής. Αν σηκώσεις τα μάτια σου, θα δεις και τον Πύργο που αποτελεί ένα από τα πιο γνωστά αξιοθέατα της πόλης.
18. Σουλεϊμάν Τζαμί
Λένε πως κατασκευάστηκε με εντολή του Σουλτάνου Σουλεϊμάν του Μεγαλοπρεπή. Είναι το δεύτερο μεγαλύτερο τέμενος στην πόλη και αρκετά επιβλητικό μέσα και έξω! Και έχει και μοναδική θέα.
19. Προφιτερόλ στο Inci
Δεν θα είναι το καλύτερο που έχεις φάει στην ζωή σου, αλλά αξίζει γιατί θα το βρεις σε ένα από τα πιο παλιά μαγαζάκια και θα σου μιλήσουν και ελληνικά.
20. Ρωμαϊκός Ιππόδρομος
Εκεί διεξάγονταν κατά το παρελθόν οι αρματοδρομίες, ενώ αποτελούσε το κέντρο της ζωής της βυζαντινής Κωνσταντινούπολης για 1.000 χρόνια. Αυτό που ξεχωρίζει είναι η Στήλη των Όφεων, την οποία μετέφερε ο Κωνσταντίνος από το Ναό του Απόλλωνα στους Δελφούς και την τοποθέτησε στη μέση του Ιπποδρόμου, αλλά και ο τεράστιος οβελίσκος που μετέφερε ο Θεοδόσιος Α’ το 390 μ.Χ. από την Αίγυπτο, ηλικίας 3.500 ετών.
Αν είχα περισσότερο χρόνο στην πόλη:
-θα πήγαινα στο Φανάρι να δω το Πατριαρχείο
-θα πήγαινα στο Balat για να φωτογραφίσω τα στενάκια
-θα έκανα χαμάμ
-θα έπινα τον καφέ μου (ή το τσάι μου) σε κάποια από τις πολλές ταράτσες
-θα βόλταρα στο Ortakoy….ήταν κλειστό λόγω έργων όταν πήγαμε
Την επόμενη φορά!!
Σε κάλυψα;; Εγώ θα ξαναπάω σίγουρα κάποια στιγμή στην Πόλη!! Εσύ πόσες φορές έχεις πάει;;
